Are you looking for a fun way to practice the Pre-Primer Dolch sight words with your class? Play sight words Uno with them! This game is played with the same rules as the original Uno game, but has sight words on it! The number in the corner of the cards is the number of letter in the given words.
This game includes cards for all of the Dolch Kindergarten Sight Words, as well as 5 wild cards, 4 reverse cards, 4 skip cards, and 4 draw 2 cards.
This game is available in two versions - a full color version, and one that uses less color ink.
This game is aligned to Kindergarten Common Core Standards: CCS:K.RF.3c, CCS:K.RF.3d.
Thank you! This is a wonderful game for us to play, especially over the summer. Will consider the other products! You've made this "more fun" instead of "work". :)

I love turning learning into common games! Love it. What I think is also wonderful is consideration of ink usage. What a great thought!

I use this game with my 1st graders who are below 1st grade reading level and they absolutely love playing this game. I will have them "graduate"
to the next level of UNO cards as they begin to display a level of copmpetency with these words. I also have them use the word they are going to play, in a sentence to demonstrate their working knowledge of said word, especially if it is a "multi-meaning word such as know or no, and then write the word on a recording sheet to ideally take home and share. This is an excellent resource!
I really like this game idea. May i suggest you also print a set of rules etc onto a card size or several card size items as then I can put it all together in the box with the set of cards or tape it to the lid etc.

Hi, Ms. Jessica! I'm a Brazilian teacher of English and I loved your idea and your UNO cards. However, I wold like to ask if you could make available at the TPT store the UNO templates, so I could make other use of them (e.g. Irregular Verbs). It must not be a pdf. file, unless I could write on them.
Looking forward to your reply!
Hugs from Brazil
I created the cards in an autocad program that most people don't have access to so I can't post them as a template. I have made custom sets for other people based on the content they're working on (both of the CVC games and all three of the wilsons games were done based on product requensts). If you'd like a set with irregular verbs or whatever else, you can email me a list of words at aturntolearn@gmail.com and I'll create it in the upcoming weeks. Let me know what words you're looking for!
Hi Jessica,
I LOVE your Uno game and jusst downloaded it. I can't wait for my kids to play it when we return back to school. I was wondering if there was anyway I could type my own words into the boxes as well?
Thanks for your help!
Rachelle
I have the dolch words for pre-primer through third posted as separate items, as well as a set for words with ending blends. If you'd like a set with different words, you can email me a list of words at aturntolearn@gmail.com and I'll create it in the upcoming weeks. Let me know which words you're looking for!

Hi,
I loved your uno game. I was wondering if there was a way that you could do a blank uno set. I teach 4th grade and i think that it would be a great way to learn their spelling words. We do words their way. Do you have that template or can you tell me where i can buy it?
thanks so much,
