Sight Words are a Hoot! Gr.1 Reading Street Units 4-5 Sight Words

I like a file that you can get a lot of mileage from, and this is one of them.

The sight word owls may be used as flash cards in small group (teacher table) or in centers for memory game (print 2 copies). Add some clip-boards and make them into a read-the-room activity. Throw in the "Hoot!" cards to make a center game that may be played over and over.
Whether you introduce your sight words unit by unit or several units at once, these cards and accompanying activities are labeled with each unit number and week to help with organization.
