PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

My "draw it, solve it, write the fact" SmartBoard lessons have been so popular, I am posting this addition for free as a thank you to all my customers. The file contains a teacher's notes page and 11 "draw it, solve it, write the fact" pages. I use the first one for modeling. Each page has a simple addition story problem, an area to "draw it" (drag and drop the graphic set on infinite clone - makes the lesson interactive) and a space to write the fact. Pages can be printed and copied so students record at their seats OR have them solve on slates and place the printed pages in a center for extra practice. Help your K-2 students learn how to solve problems adding 3 numbers (sums are under 20).

You must have Smart Notebook software to open this lesson.
A PDF version of this lesson is available (also for free) here:

HI Scipi! I have a PDF version of the file if you want to take a look. You can find it here. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Printable-Add-3-Numbers-Math-Story-Problems-for-Primary-Students It is slightly different as I cannot use the smart notebook graphics on pdf files. :-) We've visited Chillicothe to see the great Tecumseh outdoor theater show!! Thanks for stopping by!! Lisa

I was wondering, is this a pdf file? It looks great, however, I can not download it because it says "Notebook" file? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

On  December 14, 2011Lisa Rombach answered:
Hello! This is not a pdf. The notebook software is interactive software for my SmartBoard (interactive whiteboard). Each kind of whiteboard has its own software. I will be posting a pdf version of this same lesson (with slightly different graphics- can't use the notebook graphics outside of notebook as I don't own them). I'm hoping to get the FREE pdf version out there soon. :-) There are 3 other similar lessons for sale that are pdf's.http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Printable-Addition-Subtraction-Story-Problems-Set-1-Primary-Grades

http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Printable-Addition-Subtraction-Story-Problems-Set-2-Primary-Grades

http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Printable-Addition-Subtraction-Story-Problems-Set-3-Primary-Grades

I see that you might be a 2nd grade teacher, so maybe only set 3 will be appropriate for your students. Set 1 is very very basic.

Check back because I will be posting the freebie of the add 3 numbers lesson as soon as I few "free minutes"! :-)

Thanks for your interest in my lessons.
