This is a Cooperative Learning Activity for Simple Machines. Use this to get ready for a test. After teaching the unit use this activity for review.
Each student gets a card with the question on the front and the answer on the back.Kids walk around the room and find a partner. Each reads his/her question with the partner giving the answer. Hints can be given if necessary. Once the answers are shared the partners trade cards and head off looking for a new partner. This continues for your given time period. The more partners they meet up with the more review questions they will come in contact with. It is ok for a student to come across a question more than once.
Print pages on cardstock with game pages 3&4 and 5&6 back to back. You may need to print one pair of pages twice depending on the number of students in your class.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 18 years now. I started out in 2nd grade, moved to 5th, 4th and now I have been in 3rd grade for 8 years. I have been lucky to work with many different teacher who have been in different places in their careers. I have learned so much from each and every one of them. During my 18 years I have co-taught with 5 different special education teachers. I love when other teachers work in my classroom. It opens my eyes up to new/different strategies/styles.
