That year I developed materials that integrated science, Bible and literature. It was the most inspirational teaching year of my career. I know in other comments you mentioned those who had a Mac were having somewhat of the same difficulty. Yes, I have a Mac as well. Your other units came up fine, help. Please. :0)

I love it! This is worth the money because these are REAL science experiments/lessons that can actually be done with kindergarten-age children. They meet many curriculum requirements for science in kindergarten and are cheap to do. I printed off Simple Science 1 and 2 and put them in a binder. Great!

I will teach human body, matter, balance and motion, simple machines, different habitats (desert, underground, forest) and butterfly life cycle are some of the few things I will cover with my students.

Hi Deanna! I love this science unit and hope to use it next year. Do you do one science lesson a week? Do they directly relate to your weekly theme? I think that one of my teammates may have asked you this question on your blog but I figured I would trying asking you on here (I'm assuming you get alot of questions on your blog and may not have time to answer them all). Do you have a document that lays out your weekly themes in order? As a fairly new K teacher I am trying to get organized. I'm thinking about using your popcorn word order because we don't have a reading series and I just really want an order to follow. I have purchased many of your packets and plan to continue to do so this year. I'm assuming that alot of your themed packets (specifically the shared reading texts) focus on the word that corresponses on your sight word list. So maybe if I just followed your theme order I would be somewhat organized. If you have a document that would mind sharing I would LOVE to see it.

Many of the activities have response sheets that incorporate reading, writing, math and science and can de differentiated based on the grade level. For example, a kindergarten student might just draw a picture and a 1st or 2nd grader would draw and write.
