This file contains 20 singular and plural noun cards that you can use to send your students "trick-or-treating" for nouns!
Hang the cards in the hall or in your classroom and students will record whether each card names a singular or plural noun.
There is also a 2nd deck of cards- the same 20 words, but if the first deck has the word in plural form, the 2nd deck has it in singular form so that you can have your students match up singular and plural versions of words.
There is a recording sheet for the "trick-or-treat" activity and a follow-up worksheet or assessment too!
Oh! And a there is a singular and a plural noun poster too!
Best for 3rd & up but 2nds might enjoy it with help- or just the matching game!
My kids really enjoyed this, especially since they could move around :)

This activity worked out so well and the students loved it! I was able to post the cards around the classroom and hallway. I would definitely use this activity again!
Couldn't have came at a better time. W had just been learning about plurals. I was so excited to purchase this. Unfortunately with all the other Halloween activities going once didn't get to this but I have it all prepared to pull out next year!

My kiddos had a lot of fun doing this! Thanks for making such a great resource!
I do not know why there is an issue with this file. I have re-uploaded it to TpT twice... but I am able to download it and print at home and at school. You can choose "Print as Image" from the print menu to bypass it though!

I love your blog and all of your great ideas. I just purchased the singular and plural Halloween game. I tried to print it at my school and it will not print. It tells me that a drawing error occured. Has anyone else had any problems printing this download? I will also ask my computer people here at school.
Thanks so much,
