A fun way to practice reading words based on a given phonics skill. In this set of games, students practice short, long, and r-controlled vowel words. The reading/language arts game can be used for literacy stations/centers, partner games, or small group practice. This game was created by Kathy Law for kindergarten, first grade, second grade, or anyone who needs extra sight word practice.
These have been great in my small groups and perfect for my different levels in kindergarten!!

This is awesome. But I would have loved to have had a blank template with just the numbers, ladders and slides (no words) That way I could adapt this to my children's individual needs.

Hi Kathy, Your Slides and Ladders game looks like a fun way to have kids practice. Does this set come with a blank template that I could add the words that I need? Thanks so much for the time you take to share your good ideas.
