This game was created for students to practice short vowel sounds. The game can be used in a center, a stations, as individual practice, or in a reading group. To use the game, laminate the board and game pieces. The students then match the pictures to the short vowel sound they hear. I would recommend placing stickers or writing symbols on the backs of each piece to make the game self-correcting.
