Looking for a more engaging way to take student attendance? This SmartBoard file includes an Owl theme. Simply add each student's name to an owl. In the morning, display this file on your SmartBoard and have students move their owl to the tree. Student owls left on the ground are absent students. Directions on how to add student names are included.
If you're looking for something with a particular theme such as a newsletter, calendar, or other printable, feel free to contact me and request something specific!
Make sure you have up-to-date SmartNotebook software!

I love the owl theme and would love to have lunch count added to this program. I am new to smartboards and I am having trouble putting in my students names--some are in and others aren't. I know I will love it once I get the hang of what to do. Thanks for creating this awesome owl program. :)

my students love love love this! Each morning they "fly" their owl to the tree...the next morning they "fly" them back to the grass. It has them unpacking quickly to get to the smartboard first! Thanks so much!

I've been teaching for seven years. I taught in a 2nd and 3rd grade multiage class for one year. I ran our school computer lab and taught technology lessons to all students in K-5 for two years. The 2012-2013 school year will be my fifth year teaching first grade, and love it!
