Love this! Since testing is over I am going to change up this activity and use it as an end of the year activity. I am going to have my students write down the recipe for how they became a smart cookie this year!
Hi Larissa,
Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback. What a great idea! I bet your students will come up with a great recipe...maybe you can even hold on to them and show your incoming students for the next school year, and share it with them as a "word of advice...".
Have a great end of the year!
Melissa
I cannot wait to use this! My kids are going to be so excited when they get their letters! This will definitely boost their confidence!! Thank you so much for creating such a great and thoughtful resource!!
I love this - My parents loved writing the notes and the kids love it, too! One student even said that her dad had never said something like that to her before. I tear up now thinking about it! Thanks!
Heather,
Oh my goodness....you are going to make me tear up too!!! :) Thank you for sharing! It makes our day to hear uplifting comments like that!
Take care,
Melissa :)

Hello Amelia,
I just added a new page that says, "Lookie, lookie I'm a smart cookie," to this file. It may take a few hours to update on the TpT site.
THanks!
Melissa :)

I love this idea, but I noticed on the page that says, "Directions for Smart little cookie recipe" that the last box on the left says, "Please take your time when and do not rush." Can you fix this and repost?
Diana,
So sorry for the typo! It is all fixed and I reposted the file. It may take a few hours to reload the new file.
Thank you for letting us know about this typo! We appreciate it.
Melissa :)
