Looking for a more engaging way to take student attendance? This SmartBoard file includes a ocean scene full of sea creatures. Simply add each student's name to a sea creature. In the morning, display this file on your SmartBoard and students move a bubble up to their name to show they are present at school. Student sea creatures with no bubbles on their names are absent. Directions on how to add student names are included.

I've been teaching for seven years. I taught in a 2nd and 3rd grade multiage class for one year. I ran our school computer lab and taught technology lessons to all students in K-5 for two years. The 2012-2013 school year will be my fifth year teaching first grade, and love it!
