This is a fun and convenient way to take attendance. Students move their piece as instructed on the file when they enter the room. After all students are seated, those that have not been moved are the students who are absent. The preview file shows a picture of one in progress in my class. The file itself has the word "name" instead of actual names. You can then replace the word "name" with your students names. You will need to group the text box with the image for them to move together. Any extras can be deleted or if you have more students than pieces you can make a new one by cloning one of the pieces already there. This particular file is bicyle themed and has each student's name with a biycle and a path at the top. When students move their bike onto the path it will indicate they are present.
