My students are loving this. They want to know if they can "add hair" instead of a cone party hat? Little smiley faces are popping up unsolicited on lots of written work!:)

Hello,
I just purchased the Smiley Sentences Writing Rubric Pack! Thank you so much..... I love it! I was wondering what how you use the little pencils?
Of course, I can think of many things to use them for, however, I was just curious how you used them in relation to the rubric pack. :)

Hello,
If you take a look at the first page of this pack, you will see a picture of how I set up my Smiley Sentences anchor chart. The pencils are used to write the names of my students. They place their name next to the goal that they choose on the chart.
I hope this helps,
Valerie

I purchased the Smiley Sentences and I used it right away. I loved it and so did my children. We do all of our writing in a notebook or journal and I don't need my class to write their name on their paper. Is it possible for you to change the last step to: I wrote the secret code date on my paper. I don't know how difficult this would be, but I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks for creating a great tool!
