This listing is for a fun game for your students to practice the third, fourth, and fifth one hundred Fry words and phrases to build fluency.

To use, simply print off one or all of the sets and accompanying Snow Day or Sunshine cards. If they can read the card, they can keep it! If they grab a snow day or a sunshine card, they have a chance to either get more cards OR lose them!We all know that students LOVE snow days, thus the word snow day earning them more cards! Sun melts snow, thus the term sunshine being used for students to put cards pack/lose a turn. Student take turns drawing cards.

I introduce this game whole group and then make it available to my students as center/workstation or use with parent helpers. My students love this game and it has really helped with their fluency!
