How Tall Is Your Snowman?– Students measure the height of the snowmen using the snowball “rulers”. You can cut out each snowman and laminate or just laminate the whole page. Students record their answers on the matching recording sheet.
Measure the Arctic Ice– Students use the fish “rulers” to measure the width of each piece of ice on the cards. Matching recording sheet features 2 sheets per page, to cut down on paper!
It’s Penguin Time! – Cut out and laminate cards. Students can match the time on the penguin clocks to the digital time on the fish cards! This can be played as a memory game or as a pocket chart matching center. The matching recording sheet has students drawing the hands on the analog clocks to match the digital time.
Order Up! – Cut and laminate penguin and winter children cards. Students arrange cards in order from smallest to largest or vice versa. The matching recording sheets have students cut and paste the pictures in graduated order.
Delicious Data! – Students use the tally chart to complete the graph. Then they use their graph to answer the questions on the matching recording sheet! The recording sheet prints 2 to a page to save on paper.
Snow Much Data! – Students use a tally chart with 4 different snowflakes to complete the graph. Then they use their graph to answer the questions on the matching recording sheet! The recording sheet prints 2 to a page to save on paper.
Each activity has a matching recording sheet and can be done in small groups or as individual centers!
