Materials: 2 Game Mats, uppercase and lowercase Cards, and 2 blank cards (to create your own)
Preparations: Print the mats and cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. Each student playing needs their own mat.
How To Play:
*Place 6 cards face down on the playing mat.
*First player rolls the die. They turn over the card corresponding to their roll. If they can read the letter, then they get to keep it. They need to replace the card with a new one from the pile. If not, then turn it back over.
*The player with the most cards wins!
*You could play this game two ways: first, say the letter name; second, produce the letter sound.
