For search word purposes: solutions, heterogeneous, solubility, solubility curve, saturated, unsaturated, supersaturated, molarity, molality, dilute, concentrated solutions.
This is a homework worksheet of questions and problems on the chemistry topic of solutions. Students will have to answer questions and work problems about: (1) solutions and the factors that affect solubility, (2) use a solubility curve to determine solubility at various temperatures, (3) use a solubility curve to determine if solutions are saturated, unsaturated, or supersaturated at different temperatures, (4) determine the amounts of solute that can be dissolved at different temperatures using different amounts of solvent, (5) work problems involving both molarity and molality.
This can be used as nightly homework, or as a test review. All answers are included. Also included is a handout of a solubility curve of selected compounds, and a separate handout of a solubility table.
This handout is ready to be photocopied and passed out to your students. You will receive both an editable Word document as well as a pdf form of the worksheet.
