You're right! It should have just been 3/5x = 3. The plus sign shouldn't have been there! Fixed and updated.

Subject Area:

After spending 8 years as a classroom teacher and Middle School Math Intervention Teacher I am currently on a leave of absence, spending more time with my children. While I'm not "in" the classroom, I'm working from home as a freelance curriculum writer for various companies developing lessons and assessments for students across the country! I'm excited to take what I'm learning about Common Core and create some great products for teachers here on TPT!
