- Solving absolute value equations (level 2) with variable outside the absolute value (some answers extraneous)
Also included is a student help page with examples for each type, along with 2 funny posters and an answer key.
Directions for students
• Find the Start Here card
• Solve for x. Remember absolute value equations with normally have 2 solutions, be sure the check your solutions for extraneous answers (answer that do not truly work). If your answers are not on any card, check for an error in your work.

Alternative to homework
End of lesson assessment before homework
