My favorite activity is a FUN way to make constellations with your students.
I am so sorry you didn't like the images provided. Can I assume you mean the clip art? I have to use pictures I can reproduce and follow copyright laws, meaning I can not grab real images of the Sun, Earth, etc that someone else owns. I hope that reasoning makes sense. I hope you enjoy the rest of the unit... My class always has a ton of meaningful fun with it! I am sad you rated it poorly after looking at it for 2 minutes on clarity and practicality. I hope after doing these lessons wih your class you can improve this rating.

I have been teaching my space unit for 10 years but your lessons have helped me look at my unit in a different way. We do have a moon party and play Twister with moon phases on it, have moon walk and the kids win moon pies, we walk on the moon with moon shoes, and use oreo cookies to create moon phases. Those are fun ways to learn but I like the was to incorporated common core. Thank you for sharing.

On page 63 it says you can click to find Trend Space Clip Are Variety Pack, but when I clicked nothing happened. Is it not a hot link?
Odd.. It is suppose to be a hot link. Google the exact name "trend space clip art variety pack" and see what comes up. If the pictures match, you are good to go. My kids did this yesterday and lOVED it! They asked to do it again. We also filled out our "What you know" section and flipped the papers over to draw different planets on it! I know your kids will love it too!!!!
Honestly... I have not seen these standards. If you email them to me, I will be happy to correlate them. My state was hold there were no new science standards yet, but there would be soon! Please please please email them me!!! Maryamoson@gmail.com
