Looking for Out of This World Space activities to do with your class then this is the packet for you. Sammy Spaceman has scrambled letters on him and he needs to make a word from them. After the children make the word they can find the matching picture and record their answers on the recording sheet. This is an activity they will want to do again and again. This center contains 3, 4 and some 5 letter words to unscramble.

What a cute and challenging game. The children loved the challenge of trying to determine the order of the letters to make a word and the match it with the correspoinding pictures to " Blast Off." Remind them that the vowl goes in the middle really helped. Well done, again! Thanks!

Love this activity. So easy to differentiate. My struggling learners had the 3 letter astronauts with letter tiles so they could manipulate the letters around. The vowels were red and the consonants were blue, so they took the letters on the astronauts and rearranged them--they loved it!!

This has been a great supplemental center activity for my space unit! The kids have really enjoyed it--we adjusted it a little to make it a "toss" game too. The kids enjoyed playing both ways! Perfect for this time of year for those kiddos who are having a hard time segmenting and blending! :) (And provided multiple layers of difficulty, so everyone in my class benefitted!). Thanks so much!
