Silly Troll-themed PowerPoint to teach and practice how to conjugate Spanish -ar verbs in the present tense! Let Melg, Kelmar and Flog lead students through the lesson with this fun, colorful, animated PowerPoint presentation.
Presentation explains -ar verbs, how to conjuage them, and includes LOTS of examples and practice!
Students will be amazed at the animation as they watch the -ar slide off the verb and the correct pronoun and ending fly on!
Presentation has 24 total slides, with 6 instructional slides and 3 in-context example slides, 1 review slide, LOTS of student practice, plus a fun verb conjugating game with directions for play.
Due to the color choice, some of the slides were hard to read. Also, it included an inaccurate statement, that the present tense is "used to decribe what someone is doing." That being said, the kids loved that it used Cavemen, and enjoyed it more than just taking notes off of the book.
The present tense IS used to describe what someone is doing, used much more frequently than the present progressive, which only describes what one is doing RIGHT NOW. On a side note, the characters are trolls, not cavemen. I'll disagree with you also that the color choice makes it hard to read. PPts are editable, so you can change them as you wish. Thanks for your purchase.
My students were thoroughly entertained and actually learned something! Two great things :)

This really caught my students' attention, from the interesting characters to the awesome effects, especially when the verb endings moved from the conjugation chart to the end of the verb. The only very minor issue was that on two of the slides there was a bit of text that appeared cut off, not only on the projector, but on my computer as well. This PowerPoint was a huge hit with my students and me!
I'm so glad you and your students enjoyed this powerpoint. My students are always wowed when the endings come flying off of the verb chart too! I tried to find the slides that had text cut off, but it didn't seem to do that for me. Hopefully you can fix that. Thanks so much for your purchase!

I downloaded your preview and when showing nosotros hablamos you should include in the group a male. In your powerpoint I just see two girls talking on the phone. Otherwise should say nosotras hablamos.
