This is a 3-day mini-unit (for 50-minute classes) on Spanish adverbs of frequency. Students will learn Con que frequencia...?, siempre, casi siempre, todos los dias, a veces, despues de clase, los fines de semana, los lunes and nunca. They will use these phrases with the verb gustar and activities vocabulary they are already familiar with. This package is all Word documents, which can be modified to fit your curriculum.
Days 1 and 2 include drills, a vocabulary sheet, classworks including listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities, exit tickets, and a homework. The Day 3 activity is a culminating mini-project that includes a rubric and a template for students to fill in. Students create their own calendar, showing how frequently they like to do activities of their choice. They draw pictures, as well as write sentences in Spanish.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a 5th year Spanish 2 & 3 teacher at a high school in the Bronx. I taught Spanish 1 for my first 4 years at a middle school in Baltimore. I lived in Spain for a semester in 2005 and I absolutely loved it! Teaching is a passion of mine and I am very enthusiastic. I enjoy watching students learn and grow and I love Spanish culture and the language (and even the grammar!). It is not possible to not be able to learn another language!
