This powerpoint has pictures of jobs and professions with the Spanish words (10 total). This the shorter version of the other jobs and professions powerpoint that covers 30 words. There are then four vocabulary games. The first has all of the pictures with a word in the middle. Students identify the picture and the on the click the pictures all leave the screen except the correct one. One has the pictures covered by squares. On each click a square disappears revealing a portion of the picture underneath. Students try to guess the word before it is completely revealed. The next game has pictures appear on the screen, then go off (like credits) on each click. Students (I usually do it as a competition) try to say the word before it goes off the screen. The last game has all of the pictures. On each click one of the pictures spins. Student identify the picture. The order of the slides and the timing can be changes for repeated use by going to "custom animation".

I have been teaching World Language (French, Spanish, Italian) at the elementary, middle and high school levels for 16 years. I regularly present foreign language teaching methodology workshops at state, regional and national conferences and in teacher preparation programs at various universities. I have spent time volunteering in schools in impoverished areas of Nicaragua and a portion of the money earned through TPT is used to buy school supplies (pencils, paper, books) for students at the Panama School in La Concha, Nicaragua.
