Spanish teachers need to make sure that the students understand and have mastered certain basic building blocks of the language before they can say that they have mastered the standards. Too often both the teachers and the students say and think, Whatever, I'll get it later or if I don't, who cares? These mastery tests encourage the students to definitively learn the correct forms of verbs and other basic elements of language learning as they have the opportunity to take and re-take the tests as many times as necessary until the get it perfect. Usually 4-6 such tests are given a year.The tests included here are:
- subject pronouns (and their various forms)
- regular present tense conjugation
- interrogatives
- expressions with tener
- irregular present tense conjugation
- ser/estar/tener usage
- stem changing / shoe verb conjugation
- regular preterite verb conjugation
- stem changing preterite verb conjugation
- irregular preterite verb conjugation
- Formal commands(imperatives)
- Informal commands (imperatives)
- Verbs with misleading prepositions (sueño con..)
- Future and conditional verbs
- Correct usage of preterite and imperfect
- Past pasticiples
- Direct, indirect, reflexive and possessive pronoun usage
- When to use por vs. para

Some tests, like the interrogatives are. (who= ¿quién?), others such as preterite irregulars are decir(él) = dijo

Oh, so sorry. It didn't occur to me to do so. I suppose I could add them a bit later. I find that I personally don't use them. I'll put that on my schedule of things to do.
