This is a partner activity I created to help my students practice asking where to obtain certain items and at what time stores close. Student A starts by asking where certain items can be found based on pictures they have on their paper. For example, they may have a picture of a loaf of bread and ask where to buy bread. Once Student B responds that one can buy bread at the panaderia, Student A will ask what time the panaderia closes. Student B has the times written in numerals on his/her paper and will respond accordingly. Once Student A has completed, Student B becomes the person asking based on his/her pictures and Student A responds based on his/her times.

Both students have some question and sentence starters listed on their papers to help them stay in Spanish for the duration of the activity.

This activity is designed to correspond to the Expresate Level 2 textbook (Chapter 3, Vocabulary 1), but will work well with other levels of Spanish and other textbooks.
