I wrote this handout to be chock full of COGNATES. Students GAIN CONFIDENCE in their reading abilities when they can recognize words and MAKE CONNECTIONS between English and Spanish.
This assignment can be done in cooperative groups, solo, as homework or as extra credit if there isn't time during the class period.

I have been teaching high school and middle school Spanish for 8 years. I also teach online Spanish classes in my "spare time" (Spare time?? Haha!).
