This is a quick review of 8 vocab words that can be used any time of the year to review vocabulary. The students get to drag the vocab word to the appropriate definition. This could be done throughout the year as a quick sponge activity, or as a follow up to a lesson on this particular section of vocabulary. Fun and easy for kids to review and get moving in the classroom and using that Smartboard.

Before becoming a teacher, I was a substitute teacher as I attended my undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Geneseo. I have been a high school English teacher in New York State for 10 years. My undergraduate work consisted of Secondary Education with Concentration in English and History from SUNY Geneseo. My master's degree concentrated on integrating technology into the curriculum from the University of Phoenix Online. Many of my lessons integrate the use of technology in some way.
