Here is the third set of readers for your primary learners. They are carefully aligned to the Common Core and include concepts across a variety of content areas. Dots have been placed under the text to build concepts of print and to help students become confident readers. In addition to the readers the same sentences can be built in your pocket chart with the materials provided and students can practice these in both small and large group settings. These four readers make use of the following- Here is the... These readers allow students to build academic vocabulary and to practice a variety of fine motor skills.
They include the following books and pocket chart builders:
1. Here Is The Number: Practice with number writing and number

These readers are interesting and engaging for young children and the pictures fully support the text. If you like these I also have 2 other sets you might be interested in.
So I hope this adds a little "sparkle" into your reading program and builds fluency in your students!
I just put out #7. Why are these so hard for me to come up with? Oh well. My teachers love them so much.

These have been a great addition to my emergent reader base. I love how you use a dot beneath each word. This has helped train my students to point to each word as they read. Thanks.

Fran,
I love your emergent readers. I am interested in purchasing them. I can see from the sample that the cover is on the left side of the page. Does this mean I have to cut them down the center and then staple them? I am used to having the cover on the right side and being able to copy back to back pages to save paper, copies, and time. Then you just fold the pages to staple. Am I missing something???
Suzanne
Yes. My books are created with the fold on the outside so little fingers can turn them easily. The pages are stacked and encased in a strip on the side. I have tried all the other systems and I like this the absolute best! I hope that makes sense.
