This document is everything you will need (minus a file folder) to create Spelling Homework Folders for your students. All teacher and student instructions are included - you'll just print, assemble and laminate the folders. These spelling folders are designed to go home at the beginning of the week and are due each Friday with a week of student homework inside. Each night, students will choose one of the 10 spelling homework choices that are listed within the folder. This Spelling Homework Folder is a great way for students to practice and master their spelling words...and it's low maintenance for the teacher!

My families love these spelling folders. It provides them with many choices and an organized way of keeping their child's spelling homework. This is way more fun than my original idea of a spelling packet. Very colorful too!

It's my first year teaching 2nd grade. I came down from 3rd grade. My 2nd grade team is not very organized or willing to share. I really miss my 3rd grade peeps/team!!! I've been following you and purchasing many of your products. Great stuff! Do you assign weekly spelling words that accompany these packets?

Hi Kim - Yes I do, we don't use our basil much (Scott Foresman) but do use the spelling words from this series. I like them because the lists of words each focus on a different spelling pattern.
