My kids need continued practice identifying spelling chunks or patterns in words so I created this unit. It includes a small group game and follow-up practice sheets.
**Please note, this unit is not intended to teach the skills. It should be used after the spelling patterns have been taught for extra practice.**
Included:
-cover page
-note to the teacher
-'Oops! Spelling Pattern Game' (54 spelling patterns & blends included in color and b&w)
-Spelling Pattern Flash (read spelling patterns while being timed over 5 days)
-Highlight a Pattern! (2 versions)
-Write a Pattern! (2 versions)
I use these sounds in this format all the time, but this set is so much cuter! I know I will be getting so much use out of this!

Great idea! Much needed activity for the classroom. We chanted the patterns from a chart, but this would be much more fun. I like the variety of activities, too.
