Thanks for the feedback. I find that the kids often don't read the instructions properly so often I will introduce a game to the whole class or a small group.
You could try letting a few children read the instructions and then asking them to explain to the others how it is played. You may need to add further explanation if they are incorrect.
Often I will show them how a game is played by having one child play against me. This often builds enthusiasm as someone tries to see if they can beat the teacher. While we play the other become enthusiastic and want to play themselves.
The game can also be introduced to the whole class - either enlarge it on a copier or project it onto a smartboard. The class can be divided into teams of 2 or 4 and each team can send one person at a time to the front on each turn or everyone can sit on the floor in a circle around the game board.
By introducing the game to a small group or the whole class they will often be more enthusiastic and also they will play the game properly. You can also try running a tournament so that the winners play off against each other over several rounds until there is a class champ for the game. I will then let the class champ play against me. This also builds enthusiasm.
(I repeated this feedback where you have left similar feedback for other products as it may help others also.)
