This unique project lesson allows students to work in pairs to create a manupulative spinning map of the world that requires students to demonstrate their knowledge of Earth's spin and current direction in the Southern Hemisphere. Students are required to do a bit of research on their own. Materials required are: scissors, coloring pencils, a brass fastener, glue and a piece of construction paper.
