Modeled after the popular card game, this is a Spoons Game for Comparative and Superlative adjectives.
In this file, you will find a cover page, a directions page, and the game cards. I have provided the game cards in two formats:
~cute game card like pieces on 3 pages
~one page game cards in a table
You will also find a label that you can use to help you organize stored games.
The four matches are grouped together on the pages. The students play the game similar to the card game, only instead of finding number matches, they find matches between educational concepts.
This Spoons game requries the students to match up cards based on whether the sentences require the adding -er,-est, more, or most to compare.
Ok, I have to revise my rating to make this even better. My students LOVE this game. Absolutely love it. You can hear them arguing and discussing why they need the card they need. This is a GREAT hands-on practice. I have already covered the other Spoons topics or I would buy your whole set!! Thank you for this super fun game.
