The activities in this resource are intended to be used as a warm-up (or wrap-up) activity in the math classroom. They are designed to get students engaged and thinking mathematically.
They can be used at any time of the year, or in conjunction with a concept being covered in class to help further understanding. Concepts covered include, odd and even numbers, multiples, prime and composite numbers and more.
For these activities, students need to determine which number is the "imposter", or which one doesn't belong.
This booklet includes 10 separate activities with an answer key.

This is a fantastic product! Thank you. I have featured it here in my October's Best Teacher Freebies collection: http://thecornerstoneforteachers.com/2012/10/octobers-best-teacher-freebies.html
This will be fun with my grade 7s. They may find most of these easy, but then I'll challenge them to create their own "Spot the Imposter" posters. Thanks!

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done!
Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Move the second page (thank you and advertising) to the end of your product and make the directions or suggestions page page #2. In the footer be sure to add the date of creation on EVERY page. Also number your pages.
I think it is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great. I would love to know what another math person thinks!
