This is a Koosh Ball Game for students that do not have good aim when throwing a koosh ball at the SMARTBoard. Every inch of the SMARTBoard is covered with flowers linked to a question page. There are 20 template question pages linked to the home page. No more saying, "Give it one more try to hit a flower."
This Koosh Ball Game can be used to teach any subject you wish math, reading, science, etc. The teacher just needs to double click the writing in the square and type in a question. I would then lock the question so it cannot be changed or moved by the student.
The student will throw a koosh ball at the SMARTBoard, answers the question and then touch any of the flowers. (All are linked back to the home page.) The next student will then take their turn.
My First Graders adore any Koosh Ball Game we play using the SMARTBoard.
Sorry to hear you had problems. When student keep throwing the ball in the same spot they will get the same question. I try to encourage them to aim for different flowers. I'll start by saying "What flower do you want to hit?" If someone else has bit that flower already I'll ask them to choose a different one. Otherwise I'll say "We'll give it a try." Sometimes they hit the same spot but most of the time they don't.
