High frequency or sight word recognition is an essential reading skill that has been shown to increase comprehension. This Ready To Go Game contains high frequency words and sight word cards taken from the Dolch Word List and other words that students often use when writing. There are 6 decks of word cards with at least 40 cards per deck.
This game is Common Core Standards aligned and works well for literacy centers or literacy stations as well as small group instruction or RTI in kindergarten, first grade and second grade.

I have taught for 32 years and I love it! I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. The vast majority of my experience is in kindergarten and first grade. I have also taught third grade. While teaching in South Carolina, I served as team leader for three different teams, a k - 2 combined team, a kindergarten team, and a third grade team. I also served as a cooperating teacher for student teachers from the University of South Carolina. I currently teach kindergarten in Texas where I have served as a mentor to education students from Texas State University every semester for the past six years.
