This is literacy and math activities with a St. Patrick's Day theme.
Many of them were developed based on the common core state standards.
There are five writing pieces: 4 creative writing pieces and one opinion writing.
There are 3 book extension activities which are based on: Clever Tom and the Leprechaun by Linda Shute, The Leprechaun's Gold by Pamela Duncan Edwards and The Luckiest Leprechaun by Justine Korman. These activites focus on comprehension and deeper thinking of the story.
There are 5 literacy activities: making words, configuration boxes for sight words, scrambled sight words, making a simple sentence into a more detailed sentence and a handwriting page with a rubric.
There are 3 math activities: fact families, story problems, skip counting by 2's and basic addition and subtraction to 20.
