This is a fun St. Patrick's Day game for reviewing sight words and counting for K-1. Players draw cards and read sight words to collect cards. If they draw a pot 'o gold they can earn cards from other players, if they can read their cards! A leprechaun means it is time to count up your cards and see who has won!
The syllable game has 16 St. Patrick's Day themed cards. Students draw cards to see how many syllables the word has. The object is to cover a shamrock with cards that are one, two, three, and four syllables long.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
15 years middle school science teacher. I have taught 8th grade physical science for 10 years, as well as, 5 years of 7th grade. In addition, I also tutor students who are learning disabled (dyslexia) in reading using an Orton-Gillingham based program.
