Copy star cards (on cardstock), laminate, and cut out. Students begin the activity with all of the star cards face down. One student will select two cards and flip them over. They will count the stars on each star card. The object of the game is to add the stars on the two cards together to get a total. The students can use the recording sheet on the top to record their answers. Copy the recording sheet front and back to make a possible math center last longer.
Star cards and recording sheet are included with this set. The star cards can be manipulated to make the game easier or more difficult depending on the levels of your students.
