I hope you students enjoy doing this activity as much as mine do. Second graders are very competitive and love a challenge. I found that many of my students knew the answers to their addition and subtraction problems on their timed-test but were in no hurry to write the answer. This has really helped improve their speed and they love the competitive edge!

Thank you :) When I realized my students' pace at writing the numbers was part of their slowdown on timed tests, I created this product. They loved it and got really excited when we would do this practice. It truly helped their math fact fluency as well because they were able to write their answers much faster :)
