What's included?
Everything you need to start taking Status of the Class - tomorrow(Nancy Atwell style).

Status sheet - The Status Sheet is used by the teacher, it is kept in a notebook and the teacher orally takes Status of the Class. When I use it I do Status of the Class at least 3 times per week. Sometimes the Status of the Class is simply a book check (there is a column on the Status Sheet for a book check) however at least once a week it is a full status.

Absent on Status Day Form - Absent on Status Day form is included. Students complete this form if they are not in class when status is taken. This form helps students to understand that you consider their independent reading important.

Bookmarks - The Bookmarks are to help hold the students accountable. There are 2 sets included in this package. One set is for a 5 day reading week and one set is for a 7 day reading week.

Explanation Letter - Students receive an explanation of how status is taken and the expectations of status. There is a second sheet that has blanks so that as you review the procedures and expectations for status the students fill the blanks.

Goal Sheet - There are 3 Goal Sheets. One is a monthly Goal Sheet for setting an independent reading goal. One is a Title Sheet for setting a Book Reading Goal and the other is a variation of the Title Sheet.

Wow I am shocked by your rating! Really... you said it was "very thorough" so I am not sure why you are disappointed. Did you not know who Nancy Atwell is or what her philosophy is? Did you not know what you were purchasing? If it were possible to refund your money I would, unfortunately this is just an anonymous evaluation so I have no way of communicating effectively with you. I have used this for many years with great success. I wish you would have tried it before you rated the product so harshly.
