The story elements shape map provides a visual image for non-readers and beginning readers to help them learn the main elements of a story: setting, characters, problem, events, and conclusion. It provides a visual reference to assist students in recalling the main story elements in order to retell the story. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I have 15 years of classroom experience teaching students of all elementary school ages. I have taught departmentalized classes of music, English, writing, computers, and art. I have taught remedial reading, writing, math, spelling, social studies, science, and English. I have taught Language Arts to Gifted & Talented students ages 5-10. I currently work as a reading and math Title 1 teacher in nonpublic schools. My goal is to find what works for each individual child, providing each child with the best education possible.
