Are you looking for a new way to do journals with your students? Story journals are just the thing! These journals allow for creativity through a variety of topics that are relevant to students.
Your writers will be able to:
* Write stories, poems, personal accounts, etc.
* Always have a topic to write about
* Read and discuss peer writing
* Have a collection of writing from the class to take home at the end of the year
You are purchasing the topic labels that you will place on the front of a notebook. These will become your story journals. I have included a page of write-on labels that you can use to create topics that might be specific to your class. Enjoy!

Hi Michelle,
Actually, I just printed them on regular paper and attached them to the front of the journals with contact paper (or packing tape). I think I designed them to be a little too big to fit any of the printable label templates. I suppose you could get the full sheet labels and cut them apart after you print them. I really liked the contact paper because it protects the ink from bleeding if the journals ever get wet.
