Looking for ways to engage your kiddos while learning about reading strategies?! This zip file contains eight original songs to sing your heart's content! It contains a twenty-page pdf file with two versions of each song (colored as well as black and white). It also contains eight MP3 files to upload to iTunes or another media player... and then boogie to the beat! :)
If you want to check out a sample, I posted one of the songs for free on my blog: http://oneextradegree.blogspot.com/2012/12/i-can-make-inference-dance-mix-free-mp3.html
I purchased this and have fallen in love the with songs! My kiddos are still singing the "I Can Make an Inference" song when we learned it last month! The songs really stick with them and help teach them such important skills and concepts! Thanks so much for being brave enough to share this with others who aren't as musically talented as you!

How do you save these songs to your computer? They are in MP3 format and it will not save. I have to go to TPT each time I want to use it and find where I bought it to listen.
Hi! Once you unzip the file, you just save the file folder to your desktop or another folder on your computer. The mp3s can be housed there. When you want to play them, just double-click them. :)

Hi Amanda,
Please fix the mistake below if you can soon. I need it for an evaluation in two weeks! PLEASE!!! LOVE THESE SO MUCH! Gina
Hey, Gina! I just went in to make the change, and for whatever reason, I can't find my Powerpoint file. That means that, most likely, I will have to totally recreate it from SCRATCH which is a BIG BUMMER. I will try to fix it this weekend when I have a little more free time. So sorry for the mistake!

Hi Amanda! I downloaded the songs in early Feb., but I believe there is still an error on the prediction song. The tune has been corrected (London Bridge) but my color copy still stays "I Make Connections" instead of "I Make Predictions." My kiddos are having so much fun singing "I Wonder When We Read" and are looking forward to learning other strategy songs. Your creativity is so refreshing!
Nancy
Nancy, I am so sorry I've fallen behind with keeping up with TpT. So embarrassing! :) I must have deleted my original copy, so it looks like I may have to totally recreate this from scratch to make the change. Big bummer. I will not be able to do what for a few days, but I will try to do it this weekend. Sorry! Thanks for always being supportive.
Hi! I am not really sure how that would work since I don't have an iPhone. I'm a Droid user! :) However, I would think that you'd be able to transfer them through iTunes if you have a Mac. You may want to check with another iPhone user to see how to download MP3 files to your device. I am sure it is possible... I am just not sure since I don't have that phone. Sorry! :)

Hi There! I absolutely adore your songs and can't wait to start using them in my classroom...tomorrow! I think there is a mistake in the I Make Predictions song lyrics on the color page. It says "I make Connections" and also says it's to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle instead of London Bridge. Just thought you'd like to know :)
Songs are amazing for learning and I hope to see more from you - I'm not that creative so I'm glad you are!!
Hi, Deb! Thanks for catching the mistake and letting me know! It has been corrected and uploaded to the site. You can download the edited copy at your convenience. :) Thanks for your kind words. I hope your kiddos LOVE them!
