I think the creator did a beautiful job making this document. HOWEVER, I was under the assumption that this had more of a final assessment feel rather than just charts for data collection. I was hoping this was something I could purchase and use as an end of the year assessment for my homeschoolers. But alas, I need to get my hands on something else that will provide me with questions (other than the shapes, animals, phonics sounds she provided). Happy and sad at the same time.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in the product. The description for this item indicates that it is a tool for monitoring growth and goal setting along the way. I see goal setting as an ongoing process that doesn't occur after a final year-end assessment, but rather across the year. The description is clear about shapes, numbers, sounds, sight words, etc., so I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding. {I'm not sure what you mean by animal graphs, though. I have only used animal clipart to facilitate the assessment of sound positions in words.} It wasn't marketed as a final, year-end assessment, however I think if you contact TpT, there may be a system in place for refunding your money for this item.

The data folder worksheets are terrific! I teach first grade and we keep data folders on each child. Now, I can individualize the data folders even more. I have students who need help on isolating beginning, middle, and ending sounds and the sheets for this will help immensely. Thanks so much!
