Hi Shelley,
I've purchased this product, and I teach middle school students. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem like it's very appropriate for my kids. iI had hoped that I could adapt the resources for my class, but it just won't work. I noticed that you offered a refund for others who felt like it might not be usable. Would that be possible for me? I'm not sure how this works-I've never asked for a refund before, but I just don't think it works for my students. Thanks-the resource looks great...just not for my level!

Hi Suzy. Goal-setting is incorporated into several parts of the portfolio package. There is an entire activity dedicated to setting school-related and personal goals, as well as creating a plan to achieve the goals. Additionally, goal-setting for reading and writing is included in the "Thinking about Reading" and "Monthly Reflection" activities.
