I made this Reading log in an effort to make students more accountable for their reading. I’ve included a parent letter as well as the log which can be double sided to save paper. This log allows me to keep track of what they’re reading as well as allow me to check for comprehension through their retell. You could give the students a sticker after each set of 10 books and at the end of the year they can quickly count how many books they’ve read. This is geared mainly for a primary class or any student on a modified program.
