This riveting coming of age tale by Crutcher is a must have in the classroom for reluctant readers, especially reluctant boy readers. This is a great study guide for the novel. It offers a Teacher Guide with answers as well as a blank student Question guide to reproduce as much as desired. There are a range of questions from basic comprehension to literary analysis.
I would have like to see at least some vocabulary or a grammar connection for the price.

Before becoming a teacher, I was a substitute teacher as I attended my undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Geneseo. I have been a high school English teacher in New York State for 10 years. My undergraduate work consisted of Secondary Education with Concentration in English and History from SUNY Geneseo. My master's degree concentrated on integrating technology into the curriculum from the University of Phoenix Online. Many of my lessons integrate the use of technology in some way. I have been a teacher author for Teachers Pay Teachers since March of 2007.
