I've gotten so much positive feedback from subs who have come into my classroom for having this binder! It makes preparing for a sub so much easier, and is perfect for unplanned absences.
The words in red are names and numbers I changed for privacy, and something you'll need to change for yourself anyways. I don't expect you to be able to print this out and it be ready for you to use. Of course, you'll have to input your own procedures for your classroom. But this is to give you a layout, and a start to knowing what you should include in your sub binder.
I actually used fancier fonts on mine which I got from www.1001freefonts.com. There's other websites out there as well with free fonts. I changed this version to Arial so it will be compatible for everyone. I also printed mine out on nice paper with a cute border, just to make it more fun for the sub to read. :) Instead of hole punching, I put all these papers in sheet protectors. That keeps them nice for the entire year, and prevents subs from writing on them to take notes.
If you would prefer to purchase my Sub Binder Bundle, go to http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Sub-Binder-Bundle-828919 . It includes the full sub binder as shown here, as well as a template for sub plans, a template for the sub to leave you notes, a writing prompt to use with a substitute, and 3 word searches subs can use as time fillers.
I hope this helps you! If you like it, please rate me. :) And check out my other items by clicking on my name above. Enjoy!
